My personal favorite photograph from all of 2013. This is an angel trumpet. They face downward due to the weight of the bloom. Once plucked from the stem their smell becomes stronger and stronger. This one was taken late in the afternoon on a short walk in a favorite historical cemetery. I literally was laying under it to get the shot. No flash this is all natural light.
