I took this photo in Saskatchewan on a frosty day.Time
It was later in the afternoon on an overcast day.Lighting
It was an overcast day.Equipment
I used a Canon Rebel XSi and this shot was handheld.Inspiration
I am a country girl and love country farm scenes. I just loved how all the white frost made the red barn jump out. I just thought it was just a beautiful scene.Editing
Yes I added some contrast and lifted some of the shadows. In my camera bag
I now carry with me a Canon 7D and a 5D Mark 3. Attached to those are the 70-200 and 24 -70mm lenses. I also always have my external 580 Canon flash.Feedback
When you are travelling somewhere always take your camera with you and leave a little earlier so you always have time to stop if you see something. This picture cannot be recreated another day. While driving down the road I seen this scene, loved it, stopped and made time to capture it.
