Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a friends house in Oklahoma. As a self taught photographer and lover of nature, I thought the grasshopper was beautiful and would be a great shot!

Time

I took this shot in the middle of the day while the kids were running all over the farm having a great time.

Lighting

I didn't need additional lighting for this shot, because the natural light from the sun was perfect.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D50

Inspiration

I love nature, animals and being outdoors. I get a lot of my inspiration from nature.

Editing

This is a raw unedited image.

In my camera bag

As an amateur, I only currently have a 70-300mm lens and my 18-55mm lens.

Feedback

Just go outside! There is a whole world of beautiful things to get great shots of! Think of things that you wouldn't normally think of as capture-worthy. Great pictures are all around us, they are just waiting to be captured!
