This photo was taken on 06-20-2012. This Great Blue Heron was sitting on top of a light post at Gulf State Park Pier in Gulf Shores, AL. He had a small fish in his mouth which he proceeded to eat and swallow whole. I managed to get this shot before he ate the whole fish.
