Animal Ark, north of Reno, Nevada, is a rescue facility housing many species of wildlife that cannot be released to the wild for various reasons. An important routine for the cheetahs is they must receive regular exercise in order to live a full life in captivity. They host an event called the "Cheetah Run" where observers and photographers can enjoy watching these amazing cats chase a lure through a field at speeds up to 60 mph!!
