Popeye’s Boat, The Olive, ostensibly named for his girlfriend, Olive Oyl has been depicted as various types of boats over the years. There is even one version that has the name “The Spinacher”, but Bud Sagendorf, one of Popeye’s creators said it was “The Olive”. I’m trusting Mr. Sagendorf.
