Mountain lions are quite elusive, we came upon a mother and 2 kittens eating on a deer kill. If you look closely you can see some blood on the kitten. This one ran up a tree and the other kitten and mother cat ran further then up a tree, I have photos of them as well, they were higher up and mostly hidden in the branches.
