http:--darrianashoka.deviantart.com-#-art-Soft-Pearls-450541908?hf=1 This model is know as Pure Rebel. She is a very pleasant and professional model to work with, who happens to have a great petite body. One of the best I've seen, and as you can see she's none too shy. I was probably more nervous that she was. She traveled down from Seattle to model for us. She said she also trains other models on how to pose and runs some group photos shoots in her area. Behind The Lens
Location
It was set up in a studio in Beaverton Oregon. This was at a group shoot along with 12 photographers and 6 models, so 2 togs at each stage with strobes. They would rotate us every 15 minutes, but what good pacing. In that 3 hours I captured 1,500 photos.Time
In the middle of the day.Lighting
Most stages were lit with a pair of Alien B800 strobes behind softboxes.Equipment
This was back in 2013, so I just had a Nikon D7000 w/18-200mm Nikkor lens. I had a trigger to control the lights.Inspiration
Pretty young ladies willing to pose for my lens. I did not have to sweet talk them at all. Just ask for what I wanted them to wear and pose like.Editing
Yes, I always do some editing work before adding my watermark. I used ACDSee Pro, which is cheaper and easier to use than PS, which helps speed up my photo processing. In my camera bag
I usually travel light with a 28-300mm zoom on my Nikon D810 in a leather holster. When I want the shots to matter I carry a 24-120mm lens on my D850 with a 600Ws portable light behind a 24" Octabox.Feedback
Lighting matters much more than the equipment you have. If you are shooting at any ISO higher than the lowest setting you are wasting the potential of your camera gear. If I shoot under f/9 I will not be happy with the results.
