Behind The Lens

Location

Santa Monica Pier Parking Lot

Time

Around sunset. I didn't want to leave yet as it is the perfect time to shoot, but I had a meeting to go to, and 'mistakenly' walked onto the parking lot where this beauty was parked.

Lighting

All natural and can thank the nature gods for this one.

Equipment

Nikon D3100, handheld.

Inspiration

This is such a classic, beautiful car...even if one is not 'into' cars, one can certainly appreciate them.

Editing

Not really. Just photoshop curves to enhance it just a tad, but that's about it.

In my camera bag

I travel a lot, so I tend not to go with many lenses...my go-to one is my 17-300 lense; just love it. But this picture was shot with the regular 50mm as I didn't have the big zoom yet.

Feedback

One can find beauty in almost anything. The most beautiful landscape in the world, or trash left by the side of the road. Looking at things from different angles and with an open mind helps me want to take a picture. And of course shooting, shooting, shooting to develop ones own style.
