Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the Gold Coast of Australia in an area called Springbrook. There are several water-falls in this area and I was exploring this particular water-fall. I am not a professional photographer, just love taking photos and using my imagination.

Time

I took this photo some time ago. It was taken in the afternoon as it was a warm day but cool near the water.

Lighting

I felt it would be nice to have the photo taken from inside the cave, looking out into the daylight. I think it worked quite nicely.

Equipment

My little Sony digital camera is what I used for this photo.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the natural beauty of this small cave.

Editing

This photo is exactly how it came out of the camera.........no extra processing.

In my camera bag

Just my Sony digital camera although I am interested in buying a new camera and delving more seriously into photography! I love to take photos and to use my artistic ideas when taking photos. I think because I grew up with non-digital photos I tend to pay more attention to the whole photo and the back-grounds etc rather than just snapping away and then having to delete most photos.

Feedback

If you find something in nature that moves you to capture it, do so!!! Some photos can remain real treasures in your life.
