Nothing like old brick and floor to ceiling windows.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while touring the Washo club in Virginia City, Nevada. It just called to me. This particular room was a private poker room.. It was already set up just as you see it.

Time

It was the middle of the afternoon I believe.

Lighting

The only lighting was coming through the windows that are shown. It was really just a perfect moment.

Equipment

Just my camera and the wall to hold myself steady.

Inspiration

The whole building was inspiring to me, but this room just called to me, I kept going back to it and just started shooting.

Editing

I did very little cropping arround the edges, I wanted it to be as natural as possible.

In my camera bag

Just my camera and extra batteries.

Feedback

For me it is all about what the eye sees, and how I feel about what I'm seeing, if something keeps drawing you back, that is something worth photographing, that is how art is created.
