This is a shot of one of the remaining hemlock trees at Cathedral State Park in Aurora, WV. The park is still reeling from Hurricane Sandy resulting snowfall that fell on October 29 and 30, 2012. All of the buildings at the park had trees fall on them and trails became blocked by the massive hemlocks, many of which fell onto and over the trails from the weight of the snowfall. Cathedral is still under recovery - there were trees down all over the place in there.
