I did this photo during Florianópolis Island, Santa Catarina State, Brazil annual photography marathon 2014. For two days over 500 photographers try to capture twelve images according with a list of themes. I was clicking a beach and when I was crossing the footbridge back I saw this perfect drawing created by light and shadow. Light and shadow was my beginning in the world of photography when I started taking pictures I by myself print my black and white pictures in my personal lab, studying contrasts, bright, different expositions time, all the magic of black and white revealed. Try to map the region with computer app like google earth - google maps. Understand the winds rose thinking where the sun will be in the hour of the day. Light is the most important component of the photo. I always try to capture images without flash and using the effects that natural light can offer to us.
