Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken during a crowded ballroon in the Mardi Gras period. People were dressing nice stilyzed costumes, very happy and enjoyng the party a lot. The sound was loud, vibrant and nice.

Time

The photo was taken around midnight after about 2 hours from the beginning of the ball. Happiness was the commonplace everywhere.

Lighting

Loght sources were the traditional lights of a party for adults. I.e., not static, changeable color and intensity. I used a flash on the camera to highlight the subjects.

Equipment

A Panasonic FZ150 with Leica lens.

Inspiration

The happiness and and relax of everybody in the ballroom. This was helped by the good available beverage (mainly pro-secco) and the nice food. Women loven pro-secco.

Editing

Almost nothing,

In my camera bag

When I travel, I use a panasonic fz 150 and accessories. When I have to do a more qulified work (like in a studio), I use a Nikon D600 and accessories.

Feedback

In a party like that, follow the mood and pay attention in good moments that naturally will occur. Try to be in the party´s mood , as well.
