Contrary to popular belief, it takes a lot of work to get my pics to look this crappy! ha.. I don't want 'simple grain and blur'- I want to mimic old film cameras and old polaroid shots that you would find lying around in a trailor park drawer. But with better lighting. :) I build (many) layers of colours, grain, blur, hue shifts, level tweaks, offsetting the exposure and altering the gamma, highlights and midtones, and many more compounding layers.

I think when everybody is so caught up in clarity and 'textbook', I want to break every rule to stand out in the photog and art circles we run in. Besides, it's good to let your hair down. :)
