This drawing was shown in the Art Gallery & Museum exhibiton Line by Line: 250 years of drawing Cheltenham in 2010. It records the demolition of the Cheltenham Brewery in 2005.

Carole Conde studied at Birmingham Institute of Art & Design. She lived in Cheltenham between 1994 and 2007, she writes that her drawings are concerned with the "recording and marking of the passage of time" and hopes "to convey the delicacy of the state of flux, and the majestic in the every day".
