Location
This image was captured at the start of the Colorado Grand in 2013, which is a 4 day 1000 mile road rally through Colorado. It is held every September, as the colors are changing. In order to participate, the entered car must be built no later than 1960. The event often times draws more than 80 cars from around the world and raises money for a variety of charities in the small towns along that years route. This particular car is a Type 57 Bugatti Atlantic Coupe. Similar models have sold at auction for anywhere from $20-$30m.Time
This was taken at about 8:45am as the cars were leaving Vail, CO.Lighting
The lighting was all natural, morning light.Equipment
I was using a Canon Rebel Xti, more than likely with a Tamron short zoom and hand held.Inspiration
this is a beautiful and rare car.Editing
I usually do not manipulate my images very much.In my camera bag
I now carry a Canon D50 with a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 vc, and a Tamron 150-600mm . On occasion, especially if I am shooting at a race track, I will rent a Canon 100-400m zoom.Feedback
Have fun and remember that like anything else; practice, practice, practice.
