We started at 10am on a Saturday morning, finished at 2pm Saturday afternoon in studio.Lighting
The lighting used was the Paul C Buff Einstein 640WS Lighting 1 Strobe with a large octabox, the Fash duration on the strobe 10417. that was how we froze the liquid. the studio was cut from almost all ambient light.Equipment
Camera Was the Canon 7D, lens the Nifty Fifty Canon 50mm f1.8, Tripod was the Manfrotto.Inspiration
I always liked to try challanging photography techniques, I wanted to add a theme to the concept of the milk dress shoot. Here it is.Editing
Yes, it took over 4 hours of shooting time, we managed to capture each pour of the milk onto the model, then in PS we assemble the dress bit by bit. In the shoot we take a shot of the model with our any liquid as a base image, then we add each layer bit by bit.In my camera bag

Try on a smaller scale before doing on a full model. 1. Make sure you have plenty of time. least 3 to 4 hrs shooting. 2. Make sure you put some plastic down to protect the studio, also i put a 1.8mt diameter pool down for the model to stand in to capture the milk so we can re use. 3. Make sure you have good fast flash durations (10417). 4. Cut out as much ambient light as possible. 5. Patients in the post processing.
