Location

a village in southern China I documented the village over several yyears see www.keithcardwellphotography.com and a Book on Blurb.com Sweet and Sour China Keith cardwell Its October and the river is low .... the man takes the Buffalo every night across the shallow river .

Time

about 7pm

Lighting

Natural light however you can see snail hill on the other side of the river ... behind which is a small temple x

I eat with the school teacher and his family most nights and this was the walk to their house
