This is a one exposure image that needed a ton of post processing despite having used a ND graduated filter.
It was a cold and windy evening up at the Grand Canyon although it was June. The place is surreal and so vast no camera-lens can truly capture it. The Colorado river can be seen here and even heard while there if the wind is not too strong.
I waited almost 2 hours for this sunset and almost missed the last bus back to the cabin I was staying at.

Thanks Lorie. I am glad I did as well, although I could not wait to leave as the night was falling, the Canyon is an awe inspiring place but in the same sobering and quite scary, especially as darkness comes.
