I was at a local park because of my sons Boy Scouts meeting so I had a couple of hours to kill. Well I have my camera with me where ever I go. So when I was walking around the park after the rain storm went by & the sun started to come out and at the same crossing the fence with the sun and the fog started to rise I had to take the the picture if you know what I mean?

The photo was taken in Acworth, GA (Lake Acworth)Time
So this was taken around 7:30-8 pm in the summertime.Lighting
I was taking my son to a Boy Scouts meeting at the park (Lake Acworth Beach Park) and I always bring my camera. There was a heavy rain on a hot day, you know summer thunder storms. I dropped my son off at the meeting under the canopy and I walked around the park. I walked around the park for a few minutes and it was muggy out but then the sun started to come out and then the steam/fog starting to come off the water and the grass. So I started to look for visual lines and there was the fence and the steam and the sun. It was all about timing and good luck on taking this picture.Equipment
My Nikon D800, Nikon lens 14-24, no tripod, flashInspiration
Because my sons meeting are in the evening I like sunsets and I know after a good rain you can find a good sunset.Editing
I did a little bit in Lightroom but not much, maybe too a bit of shadow out and sharpened it a bit but that's about it.In my camera bag
I have been a nikon guy for years ever sense I went from film (canon) to digital. My bag typically has a D800e, Nikon 14-24 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8. I will also have ND filters extra batters cleaning stuff and a bunch of odds and ends.Feedback
Know your weather patterns and the timing of the day and yes luck.
