Location
I took this photo just a few miles down the road from my home. This church has been in our community for over 100 years and I never knew it.Time
It was most likely around the late afternoon to the early evening hours when the sunlight isn't so harsh.Lighting
I took this photo during the time of day when the lighting wouldn't be so harsh. I took several photos from different angles where the light was hitting it just right.Equipment
The equipment used to take this photo was my Cannon Rebel and my 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I have always had a love and passion for old buildings especially barns and churches. So when I heard about this old church just a few miles from my home, I knew I had to get down there to get some photos of it. The owners of this place say its set to be demolished soon, which makes me sad. I think its so beautiful.Editing
When I took this photo I knew I wanted to make this photo have a dramatic look & feel to it. I added a few different filters on it to make this old dramatic feel to it. I also loved the way it made the photo look when I rounded the edges of it.In my camera bag

Make sure that you truly look at the object you are trying to capture, see it in it's rare beauty. Focus on the object and take several pictures from different angles and find what makes it stand out. Snap away!! Love what you do and it becomes a second nature.
