These trees are planted on the north coast of South Africa,Planted in perfectly straight lines. Driving past these at speed creates a great affect as you look down each row, for a split second you can see perfectly down a row and out the other side. I wanted to create this affect with my camera and get the row clear, with the other surrounding trees blurred by motion. I used manual focus to acheive the focus point at the end of the trees, th shutter speed was 1-160 with an aperture of F6.3. I used this speed because i wanted the trees around the row in focus to have some motion blur.I was traveling at 120kph in the passengers seat, i got the shot by picking the row to shoot in advance and panning as it came towards me, hitting the shutter at the correct time. It took a few shots to get right, but I'm really happy with the results.

Beautiful! I love motion shots, and for exactly the same reason. Passing gives a ripple effect that is just amazing. Love this set up, great idea.
