I would have personally not had the feet in shot as the patterns in the ice are wonderful

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments. This photo brings back many memories, as I was just starting out in photography when this picture was taken. -teaching myself the basics of composition, POV, impact, rule of 3rds, etc etc. Not to mention the first year I had ever been on clear ice out on a lake! Usually there is some sort of snow cover, but not that day! Haha!
