Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home. This was my precious kitten whom since has past. His name was Bam Bam. This would be just about the time I picked up a camera. I never attended any courses for lessons, I learned on my own.

Time

This was in the winter of 2009. Afternoon Shot.

Lighting

Photography was taken indoors with no lights, just used the sunlight that came through the window to the left of him.

Equipment

At this time I was shooting with an older model Nikon. No flash, Shot was raw.

Inspiration

I love animals. I remember it was cold this day. I bundled bam bam up in a cotton stiched blanket. And waiting for him to fall asleep, and then my shot was their with his yawn.

Editing

Not really, I just took the photo which was raw and threw it in a black and white and painted his tongue back to pink.

In my camera bag

I carry a Canon now. A few lens filters and extra lenses.

Feedback

The only advise I can give is to be patient. And make sure you take several shots, you never know which one will be the best.
