This Photo was captured in Magdeburg; Germany in my pretty little Home Studio. As I was sixteen my Passion for the Photography was born. Since than I taught me the similar things about taking Photos. In 2012 I bought my first DSLR camera and I love it. You have so many possibilities to take great Pictures.Time
We started our adventure of colors in the afternoon on 19th september 2013. And it was so much fun.Lighting
At this time last year I had no professional lightning stuff so I had to improvise. I used all the lamps I had in my entire Appartment and placed it on both sides of my friend. It was also the first time for me using a flash right on top of my camera. It was a flash which one doesn't work automaticly I had to set it manually. It was again a new experience for me because I always used available light.Equipment
Back than I used my first DSLR which was the Canon EOS 1100D with the Kit lense 18-55 mm. Today I have a Canon EOS 60D which one is way better than the 1100D but for the beginning it was an amazing camera. I also used a detachable flash, a tripod and a ventilator to make some wind for flowing hair.Inspiration
Because I'm so in love with vibrant colors I had the Idea to implement something which have the focus on powerful colors, so a best friend of mine gave me the chance to realise my project. I wanted to show strength and a feeling of "I'm untouchable" all I need is selfconfidence and I can do what I want and what's best for me. Live a colorful life with ups and downs. So I tried to leave a message: I will always be myself!Editing
Yes I did a post-process. The background was to dark so I used the brightnessand contrast tool and used a mask to avoid my friend and I wanted to emphasize her and make the colors more pop. I also did beautyretouching, color-settings with cuves and used dodge and burn for the eyes.In my camera bag
My camerabag is packed with my Canon EOS 60D, my alltime favorite lense - the 50mm f/1.8 and the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8Feedback
Since I take Photos of people I learned every person you shoot is different and the magic in taking good pictures is to find the one secret side of every person who make them unice and beautiful! It's not about to get the perfect sharp photo, it's not about the right technic and the expensive lense or camera - any equipment! It's about to tell a story behind the picture, the one perfect second which holds a memory forever. To leave a message. At least love what you do and your work will be full of love.
