It had finally rained in SF, first time for the winter and I knew after the 2 days of wet, cloud coverage, that this sunset would be special. I climbed to the top of Slacker Ridge in the Marin Headlands and as soon as I got there, the sun dipped low in the sky, the fog broke long enough to add an excellent element of drama. Beautiful but a short lived landscape. Within minutes of the sun setting, it was covered by this thick urban blanket.
