Leaning over the rock embankment, focusing down the cliff, experiencing the raw power of the Pacific through my lens. I could see the monster emerge... I could hear its powerful growl as it surfaced for a split second then swirled away into froth...

Thank you! This is one of my favorite spots to use my zoom - near Manzanita. The ocean is so powerful - I never know what I will capture. I lost the one with the seagull sitting peacefully on a rock surronded by crashing wing-shaped waves. Hoping to get another like it soon... want to go???
