For the benefit of anyone that is interested I will post the response as a comment. The image was taken in low light conditions with a slow shutter speed (so tripod most definitely required). The blur effect is the result of a lighted cube that the performer was spinning quite quickly. The hardest part was to capture the image at a moment when the performer was still and the cube spinning. The image was then converted to black and white with some minor adjustments to make the performer really stand out. Thanks for checking it out!!
