This magnificent building was last occupied by Borders Bookshop in the center of Palo Alto University Av. The Bookshop finally closed late 2011. Border’s occupancy was not without controversy for the locals. Prior to Borders, this 23000 Sq ft two story building was the prominent Varsity movie theater. I love this building (dah… I hear you say). Although I have other shots that show the entrance arch more symmetrically and wider, I intentionally wanted an organic and offset (without cropping) night capture with no lens flare. Tall order, but I am close with this one! Resisting the temptation of cropping this shot and leaving it as eye-view was the best thing I did.
