Eben jct, Michigan. about a one mile hike at the end of Frey rd. You first have to walk through a field that is privately owned. Then you enter the woods which is state land. Many people visit the ice caves so the path is usually hard snow packed. Depending on the time of winter you go. This only has become very popular due to the internet. It is not a advertised attraction.Time

To be honest with you this used to be on my uncles property years ago. My family and local people would be about the only ones that would hike back there. Then he sold it to the State and then came the internet. So in some aspects it has become very popular. At any rate I always wanted to shoot it and have the picture made into a metal print. Which I have done and it is in my living room. It looks great.Editing

know your lighting before you go. Bring only what you may need. for this, to travel light is better. Unless you want to pull a sled full of equipment.
