I took this photo at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. It was inside one of their greenhouses.Time
It was taken in the late morning.Lighting
Most of the light came from the sun streaming through the greenhouse glass.Equipment
I used my camera with a flash, but no tripod. That was it.Inspiration
This was the first time I saw Angel Trumpets and I was quite taken with their size and shape. I started to snap a few different shots but none of them seemed quite right. Then, I thought, I should try a shot from underneath the flowers looking up into them. And that's how it came about.Editing

My camera, my imagination and(I like to think) my eye for catching ordinary things in a unique way.Feedback
When something catches my eye I try to look at it from different angles and I'll often take several shots testing out the best way to "showcase" the subject. Often I'll take many shots I don't really like before getting the one that's right. You have to have patience and willingness to try out a different approach.
