I was lucky to have the natural lighting from the October morning sun shining on the subject but still low enough to keep the Vally floor int he shadows.Equipment
I used a Canon Rebel XTi with a 18-55mm LensInspiration
I was looking for wildlife to photograph when I came across this little guy. First he was on the sidewalk begging from visitors and then moved to the wall. He scampered around a bit then settled on the very edge of a rather large boulder about 5 feet from me. He was unconcerned there was nothing below him as he ate his breakfast.Editing

Patience, take as many shots as you can, try to get eye level with your subject and use your tripod when necessary.
