Its was a beautiful sitting of Lion and they were putting on an absolute show for all. This young male walked by our car and parked off next to a bush. He seemed quite sleepy.Equipment
Small handheld camera (at the time it was all I had on hand). At the time I was just interested in photography as an artistic medium. I was 17 years of age and merely was interested in the topic. It is only today that I now use it more to more in my career and as a hobby.Inspiration
It was just supposed to be a day in the park. We landed up merely coming across these beautiful animals. There was 2 young males and a female which suggests a new tribe developing. There was just a bit of exposure manipulation on the image as the day was a little over cast. And then a manipulation of the Black and White (as I did not fully create a black and white image). I felt the slight interest of colour allowed the crop of the photo to take place and balanced the composition a bit.In my camera bag

Today I carry around my Nikon 5200 camera, camera bag contains many sd cards (of course), Sigma close up lens, light diffuse, and 3 different range Nikon lenses (I am still quite amatuer and have never had any training) Still learning tons of new things :)Feedback
I wouldn't really know where or what type of advise to give. Besides research into multiple different photographers. Read into their work and play with composition and lighting. Take as many photo's that you need. One sometimes doesn't need much of a tweak to expose the beauty of the shot.
