Cute shot. As a professed newbie wanting to learn, the first advice I would offer would be to start a favorites folder of everything you find that you really like. Then you can easily refer back to these images for ideas and inspiration. Secondly would be to comment on things you particularly like and ask questions about how a shot was done. Some folks are more than willing to share techniques and secrets, and some not, but it never hurts to ask. Most important is to have fun here. Again, welcome to VB.
