Second time out to watch these amazing animals, we counted seventy-two horses and four foals. We had to hike a couple miles to get to the herd grazing along a rolling desert hill. We finally got to the herd when something in the hills spooked the wild horses into running. The herd shifted and turned directly towards me and my friend who I had been shooting with. I still cant find a decent way to describe this moment something that so many people want to see but so few actually do.
