Very nicely captured. It gives a out moody feeling that something is wrong or something is going to happen. The photo tells a story which draws the viewer in. Well done and great capture! :)

Location
This photo was captured on a crooked, bay-side dock overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in a town in New Jersey called Ocean City.Time
I took this at around 5pm on a cloudy day.Lighting
The lighting was very strange because it was not only a cloudy day, but also a foggy day. The bay had an eerie atmosphere that kept fogging the lens. I eventually was able to focus on the subject ( the model), and I worked with the fog instead of against it.Equipment
I can't remember what lens, but I know this was taken with a Nikon D3100 with no flashInspiration
The crooked dock is what inspired this photo (along with the weather). The dock was very sturdy, but it looked as though it had been twisted with giant hands. The dock and the weather seemed chaotic. I wanted to focus on a subject that seemed calm, cool, and eerie.Editing
Since the clouds and fog were so prevalent, there was a grey-wash tone to the photo that I had to eliminate. I also wanted the background to fade out into the depths of the water, so I created that effect by lowering the contrast, clarity, and overall shadowing of the area in the background. Since this also seemed like a cool image (due to lack of sun), I changed the color scheme to a cyan tone.In my camera bag
This changes on each shoot!Feedback
If there is a natural force - i.e. wind, rain, snow, fog, etc. - in your way, try to work with it and not against it. My original intention was to heavily edit the shoot in post production to try and replicate a sunny day. I was really happy that I went against that idea, as it's really difficult to create a feel to a scene that simply doesn't exist.
