I took this shot with a Helios 44M 1978 lens. The 8 blade version lens, as it is very good for the Bokeh effect wide open. Which I picked up very cheap of Ebay. I Also bought a M42 to EOS adapter to fit it to my Canon 600D body and basically had fun with experimental shooting. The pictures I shot, amazed me more than imagined. I now have 8 of these lenses in my collection from the 000 experimental version (6 blade and 8 blade) to the 44M 2 later 1987 model. There is no AF so all were taken in manual mode the aperture pin was modified as I do with all these lenes to give full aperture control. The shot was by a waters edge with the camera resting on top of my boots and the view screen was twisted upward, so I could see the live view mode on my camera. The ISO was 100 as I like to take a lot of my shots with this setting and the exposure was set to 3200 high enough as not to have to much contrast so I could set the mood in this picture. It is one of my most carried lenses that I take out shooting just in case a opportunity of a shot comes along.
