No external lighting source was used other than the bright light of the moon and the warm light of the street lamps on the palm treeEquipment

we were sitting out on my front yard with a friend smoking and discussing about life when suddenly i looked up to see the smoke that i had just exhaled and there it was. Stairing at me. A big full moon with a huge bright Halo around it. Until that day i had never seen a Halo in my country. I runned into the house and took the first camera i could get my hands on. Until i had set up the tripod the halo started fading away but it was just enough to be captured in the still. The palm tree was just in the way but it worked out eventually pretty well.Editing
It went through a bit of post processing but very light. Redused the saturation a little and pumped up the clarity and contrast in LightroomIn my camera bag

The only advice i have to give is that if you love what you do and you invest time and effort in it, you do not have to plan a good shot. Let yourself look around and you will see great shots staring at you. Things you would never believe that could be photographed will astonish you in the best of ways.
