Hosne Ara Begum is famous in Sonargaon, Bangladesh for her beautiful designed Nakshi Katha. The colourful patterns and designs that are embroidered resulted in the name "Nakshi Kantha", which was derived from the Bengali word "naksha", which refers to artistic patterns. Hosne Ara Begum designed lots of Nakshi katha For her beautiful work, She awarded Gold Medal in 2010 and lots of media published her news to the newspaper.
