Earth is a Place on Earth

This image was taken in Nov of 2011. It has not been Photo shopped air brushed or put together. The only editing done on this image was that being flipped upside down and some minor color correction. All the editing was done on the simple Windows photo editor that comes standard on any PC. A lot of elements went into getting this image. I scouted this location for over a year until everything came together. Extremely Low Tide Exposing a seldom seen sand bar. Leaving a 1 inch sheen of water creating a foot ball stadium size mirror.Light was re-fraction and reflection everywhere in low light. The sun was just set and the light was hitting the clouds and reflection off the water which was sheet glass, no wind not a breath.
