Location

This my favourite place. The beach. In stormy weather. The lighting always just 'pops'

Time

Mid morning strolls along a beach with the sun low in the sky mean great photos are only a click away.

Lighting

The low sun and dramatic slate clouds made this rainbow really stand out.

Equipment

This was with my now stolen Canon 6D. I do miss her.

Inspiration

I'd been taking some pictures with a woman walking her dog, when we both turned to say Goodbye to each other and both gasped at the rainbow.

Editing

I do very little post processing at the moment, I only used some contrast adjustment and a little saturation.

In my camera bag

I used to normally tote a Canon 6D, but went mirrorless when it got stolen one day. I'm now enjoying a Sony mirrorless.

Feedback

With vivid colours, like this I always like to underexpose slightly. The best advice is the oldest advice, though: Always have a camera with you!
