I took this photo in Anaheim, Ca in my backyard.Time
It was mid day on a very overcast afternoonLighting
I wanted to show off the beauty of the spiral inside the center of the flower. So I played around with the contrast light until the other leaves in the background seemed to disappear.Equipment
I actually took this photo with a canon I'm not sure what model because it decided to jump off a table onto a cement floor (RIPs) and this photo was taken many years ago .Inspiration
I love Lily's and wanted to show MY view of them and why I love them so much.Editing
Yes I adjusted the contrast so that the leaves in the background where not as noticeable and that's it.In my camera bag
I have my canon 50D,extra batteries, extra SD cards, lens cloth and cleaner, (often around little ones who think the lens is so fascinating , a 24-70mm lens,a 18-35mm lens,my trusty flash , and a battery charger.Feedback
Keep shooting . even when you think you have the perfect shot. There are so many good shots I've gotten after I thought I had the "perfect" picture.
