I spent my beach vacation in Sandbridge, Va last summer waking up every day at 5 am so I could capture the perfect sunrise. Without fail, I was there for the sunrise and without fail, the sunrise was lackluster. For the first three days, I was continually disappointed. Fourth day comes and I forget to set the alarm. I wake up with a startle, literally run to this location, dragging my tripod and my camera. And I get there and this is what I see. I thought this family's silhouette created an interesting capture , particularly because of the way they were dressed. Not sure why. The rest of the week worked out just fine.
