Location
This was taken in the shower of our London flat at the time.Time
It was probably afternoon. Being indoors in a bathroom with no window, it's hard to tell at this point!Lighting
I relied on the bathroom's sole light. I embraced whatever shadows were captured without the use of a flash to compliment a more moody atmosphere.Equipment
Shot with a 50mm portrait lens.Inspiration
Since the model is a friend and was staying with us at the time, I thought it would be fun to do a shower shoot to capture some interesting shots with the water constantly running and the model separated behind a wet glass door. Later shots included her sipping on a glass of wine and eating a bowl of noodles - all while the water was running throughout.Editing
Due to the bathroom lighting, the image may have originally been a little too predominantly yellow for my liking. I generally play around with Selective Colour and Curves to set the tones of an image to my particular preference and style. In my camera bag
I always carry a Canon 50D with an 85mm and 50mm lens, accompanied by an external flash light and diffuser.Feedback
It was more or less a spontaneous shoot which can pretty much be done by anyone with means to a glass door shower room. There was not much space for me to shoot from, especially as I was using a 50mm portrait lens, but it was just about enough to capture the shots I was aiming for. No extra lighting or assistance was otherwise required.
