This was a prescribed burn that was done to regenerate growth in the field and as a training exercise. This was taken as the flames were moving towards me or what is called from in the green on a fire. l Burns like this are important to wildland firefighters so we learn fire behavior. Large fire produce their own weather including strong winds that can drive then and things can change very quickly.
