A student I taught in fifth grade and was now in college was listening to his I-Pod and did not hear the train coming down the track. I hadn't seen him since his highschool graduation, but saw him at a restaurant the week before. I am so glad I stopped to talk to him and find out what was going on in his life. When his mom went through his room she found an engagement ring. He was getting ready to ask his girlfriend to marry him. Such a sad loss of life.

This was taken in my friend's yard at it's peek of beauty.

These were taken in my yard. I toned downed the color to give it a nighttime feel.

I feel Brittany looks like a lion here. I added a bit of red to her hair.

This was a white iris. I used a Lomo filter to obtain the color. I used the sun in the background to obtain the paper thin look of the petals.
