Behind The Lens

Location

I took my daughter to a park in Roseville, MN. I got a camera as a wedding gift a year before she was born, so every photo I take is something to learn from. I'm finding a new love of photography!

Time

I think this one was taken late morning, before nap time.

Lighting

I am such an amateur and know close to nothing about lighting. It was a nice fall day with a bit of overcast, which made for great natural light.

Equipment

I have a Nikon D3000. I just used the lens that came with the camera. No tripod, no flash. Just pointed and shot.

Inspiration

I wanted to get some shots of my daughter and the fall colors.

Editing

All I did was crop this one. I actually have another copy, where I removed the stem of the leaf, but this one is just a crop.

In my camera bag

I just carry my Nikon D3000 with the lens that came with it. I do have another lens that I can be further away and focus more, but i am such an amateur, I don't even know what it's called.

Feedback

Just keep trying and take lots of shots!
