For 10 years, Adrian Rodriguez has been photographing colorful dyes as they drip in his toilet bowl to make what he calls "toilygraphs." In the process, Rodriguez has turned his bathroom into a photo studio and spends hours getting the dye to drip precisely to his taste.
So far, he hasn't suffered for his art: Rodriguez hasn't been plagued by plumbing problems due to the dyes and he averages about $300 per photo.
But while this Pablo Picasso of the potty is flushed with excitement about his toilygraphs, he admits he's only photographed images while flushing the toilet once. He says he has since avoided flush photos because "all the colors blend together into turquoise."
