He's A Wild Man

This male Cardinal has been coming to me for 2 years, when first I saw him, he was molting, OMG, he was one sad looking character,When a Cardinal molts they do not turn dull and the molting on their deep rich red, looks aweful. I honestly thought something was wrong with him, not just due to the molting but he looked waxy. He now comes and whistles and I sit out shelled peanuts (which he loves) he doesn't appear to mind me close to him, he will eat and simply sit for a long time, he still has discoloration and a little wax look around his head, but he's a beauty never the less.
